Garden Improvements

· We will create a Wood Pile on the North West side of the garden later this year. This structure will encourage insects to come into the garden and increase its biodiversity.

· The Childrens Play Area will be upgraded this year.

· A small part of the Garden has been cordoned off on the SW side, by the water tap. There is a leak in an old water pipe, and we are investigating how to get it fixed.

Montagu Square

Montagu Square is in Marylebone, London. It is situated a little north of Marble Arch, between Edgware Road and Marylebone High Street.

It was built as part of the Portman Estate between 1810 and 1815, along with Bryanston Square, a little to the west, and first leased to the builder David Porter. He named the square after his former benefactor, Mrs Elizabeth Montagu, when he was a chimney sweep.
